Der Titel verweist auf die Materialität von Bauwerken und thematisiert indirekt den Brutalismus, mit dem ich mich immer wieder sowohl fotografisch als auch malerisch auseinandersetze.
Die subtile Farbpalette und die lebendige Textur laden dazu ein, den Bildraum gedanklich zu betreten und neue Perspektiven zu entdecken.
Für dieses Werk habe ich mit Acryl, Glutolin und Kohle auf Leinwand gearbeitet.
Architektonische Darstellungen ziehen sich wie ein roter Faden durch meine Arbeit und inspirieren mich immer wieder zu neuen Interpretationen.

Zoë Katharina Haupts
Recurring themes in her artistic practice include architectural elements and a play on levels of perception. The abstraction of organic subjects such as cacti and carnivorous plants, as well as experiments with geometric forms, are also an integral part of her work.
Her projects explore the diversity of worldviews, the Anthropocene and the complex relationships between human and non-human actors. In doing so, she moves between constructivist approaches and relational theories in order to discover new perspectives on the reality of everyday life.
Her preferred media are analogue and digital photography, painting and drawing.
