An oversized piece of candyfloss almost completely obscures the fairground scene in the background. What might actually be the subject – the Ferris wheel, the people, the stalls – recedes into the background. Instead, the focus is on a fleeting moment: the joy of something ephemeral.
The painting plays with perspective and memory. The candyfloss becomes a pink cloud that alters one’s view of the world and, for a moment, makes everything else seem unimportant. Blending nostalgia, light-heartedness and a summery atmosphere, the painting invites us to rediscover the magic of small moments.

In my artistic work, I explore the question of what really matters in life. Amidst consumerism, external influences and societal images, what stands out for me are human emotions – love, intimacy and vulnerability.
My works are created intuitively. Colour, movement and deliberate breaks reflect inner tensions and reveal what often remains hidden. In this process, raw, expressive elements meet personal themes and create spaces in which viewers can recognise themselves.
For me, art is a place where emotion and expression take precedence over perfection.
