The works in the “Dreams” series are inspired by the artist’s own dreams. She has been exploring this theme for several years and keeps a dream diary in which she regularly records her dreams and captures the painted images she sees in them. The next morning, she sketches these images straight away and then translates them into paintings as soon as possible.
The artist’s creative process consists of a constant interplay between her night-time dreams and the development of her art during the day. These two phases influence one another. Put simply: she dreams of painting and then paints her dreams.

“My art inspires people to rediscover conscious living. I create a world in which it is permissible to playfully discover new things for oneself and to experience what feels alive. To see the fireworks of vibrant colours and to feel the exciting textures and shapes on the canvas. The tactile aspect of my art encourages people to interact with the images in a new way.
Through my art, I aim to inspire people to dream and awaken their zest for life.”
