Das Bild ist im Januar 2026 vor Ort am Ufer eines zugefrorenen Weihers gemalt worden. Es wurde mit viel Wasser nass in nass aquarelliert, anschließend wurden einzelne Baumpartien bei wenig Restfeuchte des Papiers linear akzentuiert. Die Malweise ist fließend mit einem Fokus auf Bewegung und Übergang. Die vorherrschenden Farben sind kühle Blau-Grüntöne, Violett und als Kontrast wenig warme Akzente in Gelb und Braun.

– Shapes – Lines: For me, painting and drawing are an important and fulfilling means of expression. I find it a wonderful experience to bring pure pigments, combined with various binders, to life as a composition on canvas. My experience in drawing from my background in landscape architecture often finds its way into my work as graphic elements.
