Watercolour
The watercolour was painted on site in January 2026 by a pond in a wintry atmosphere. The basic structure was created using dynamic brushstrokes with the wax-based watercolour pencils. Working quickly and using an expressive style, the watercolour was completed with cool blue-green tones. The white areas were left untouched, whilst the glazed areas were painted wet-on-wet – with a focus on the shadows of the bank on the horizon.

The artwork is shipped unframed with a passe-partout – including a certificate of authenticity and the artist’s signature on the reverse.

– Shapes – Lines: For me, painting and drawing are an important and fulfilling means of expression. I find it a wonderful experience to bring pure pigments, combined with various binders, to life as a composition on canvas. My experience in drawing from my background in landscape architecture often finds its way into my work as graphic elements.
