Material:
Pigments, acrylic emulsion on pure linen; the edges have been deliberately left unfinished.
Technique:
Abstract painting with influences from the Informel movement. The composition is based on glazed layers of paint, visible brushstrokes and colour gradients. The unfinished side edges reveal traces of the creative process and the natural texture of the pure linen.
Shipping:
The work is shipped stretched on a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity and a signature on the reverse.

– Shapes – Lines: For me, painting and drawing are an important and fulfilling means of expression. I find it a wonderful experience to bring pure pigments, combined with various binders, to life as a composition on canvas. My experience in drawing from my background in landscape architecture often finds its way into my work as graphic elements.
