Enkaustik auf Holzkörper
In ein Medium aus reinem Bienenwachs - versetzt mit natürlichem Dammarharz – werden hitzebeständige Pigmente eingearbeitet. Die Mischung wird flüssig aufgebracht und nach dem Erkalten weiter mit ölhaltigen Farben und Pastellen veredelt. Die Oberfläche kann mit einem weichen Tuch poliert werden.Â
Technik:
Bei der Enkaustik wird durch die Verwendung von Wachs und Pigmenten eine besondere Tiefe und Textur erzeugt. Das Werk ist der abstrakten Geometrie zuzuordnen, in der die Kreise als zentrales Motiv Ausgeglichenheit und Harmonie erzeugen.

– Shapes – Lines: For me, painting and drawing are an important and fulfilling means of expression. I find it a wonderful experience to bring pure pigments, combined with various binders, to life as a composition on canvas. My experience in drawing from my background in landscape architecture often finds its way into my work as graphic elements.
