Material:
Encaustic on a wooden base
Heat-resistant pigments are worked into a medium of pure beeswax – mixed with natural dammar resin. The mixture is applied in liquid form and, once cooled, further refined with oil-based paints and pastels. The surface can be polished with a soft cloth.
Technique:
Encaustic creates a distinctive depth and texture through the use of wax and pigments. The work falls within the realm of abstract geometry, in which the circles, as the central motif, evoke a sense of balance and harmony.
Shipping:
The work is dispatched as a wooden panel without a frame – including a certificate of authenticity and the artist’s signature on the reverse.

– Shapes – Lines: For me, painting and drawing are an important and fulfilling means of expression. I find it a wonderful experience to bring pure pigments, combined with various binders, to life as a composition on canvas. My experience in drawing from my background in landscape architecture often finds its way into my work as graphic elements.
