Das Aquarell wurde vor Ort an einem eingeschneiten Fischweiher gemalt. Es wurden Farbbereiche auf trockenem Papier nebeneinander gesetzt, die an den Rändern weich übergehend verlaufen. Das Bild ist stark abstrahiert und die Tonwerte der überwiegend kühlen Violett- und Blautöne lenken den Fokus auf den Uferbereich am hochgelegenen Horizont.  Â

– Shapes – Lines: For me, painting and drawing are an important and fulfilling means of expression. I find it a wonderful experience to bring pure pigments, combined with various binders, to life as a composition on canvas. My experience in drawing from my background in landscape architecture often finds its way into my work as graphic elements.
