ein Medium aus Bienenwachs und Dammarharz wird mit Pigmenten gemischt und heiß auf die Leinwand aufgetragen. Es kühlt sofort ab und ist dann mit einem weichen Tuch immer wieder polierbar. Bei diesem Bild wurde zusätzlich mit Schellack gearbeitet. Unregelmäßige Ränder gehören zum Charakter der Enkaustik und sind kein Mangel, sondern erwünscht.

– Shapes – Lines: For me, painting and drawing are an important and fulfilling means of expression. I find it a wonderful experience to bring pure pigments, combined with various binders, to life as a composition on canvas. My experience in drawing from my background in landscape architecture often finds its way into my work as graphic elements.
