Über das Gemälde:
Während einem meiner ersten Frühlingsspaziergänge entstand die Idee, flüssige, bewegte Oberflächen als Inspiration für meine Gemälde zu nutzen. Milkshake ist die erste Ausarbeitung dieser Idee in Acrylfarben. Was genau auf meinen Gemälden abgebildet ist, bleibt für Betrachter ungeklärt, denn das Zusammenspiel der Farben und ihre Beziehungen, die sie während des Malprozesses miteinander eingehen sind das Hauptaugenmerk meiner Malerei. Die eigenen, persönlichen Standpunkte sowie der Bedeutungsrahmen, in welchem sich die Betrachter befinden, beeinflussen die Art und Weise, wie sie meine Bilder lesen und interpretieren.
Anmerkung zu den Fotos: Die Farbigkeit der dunklen Farbe wurde durch die Fotografien verfälscht, im Original handelt es sich um ein dunkles Phtalogrün.

I’m an art student from Kiel, though I actually grew up in idyllic Lübeck, and have been studying art to become a teacher in the interdisciplinary class taught by Prof. Dr Almut Linde at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts since October 2020. I’ve been painting with my favourite medium – oil paint – since I was 14. Starting out with portrait painting, over the years I’ve developed the distinctive colour palette that characterises my paintings; the magic that can arise between colours when used correctly continues to fascinate me to this day and motivates me to keep going.
I have already had the opportunity to exhibit my work in a number of exhibitions and am extremely grateful for any further opportunities :)
