Lara Girotto

Lara Girotto (born 16 October 1996) is studying for a Master’s degree in Art at the University of Osnabrück. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.

Her artistic practice is centred on the medium of painting. Thematically, she explores the boundaries – or rather, the blurring of boundaries – within painting. As an artist, her work is characterised by a deep passion for visual aesthetics and a fascination with the interplay of colours. Her artistic creation is a continuous exploration of the ways in which colours can interact and harmonise with one another.

She strives to evoke emotional responses through her artworks and to transport viewers into a world of beauty and sensory impressions. In her works, she seeks a balance between control and letting go, between deliberate composition and the natural flow of colours. Her creative process involves experimental work and the exploration of various techniques and materials to achieve unique effects.
