The painting was created in December 2025 on location by a pond in Upper Bavaria. Every brushstroke and every colour gradient is created in the moment and cannot be replicated. Through a rapid working method and deliberately placed areas of darkness, the tranquil, misty winter atmosphere in the evening light is captured. The focus of this painting is on the area along the bank in the background.

The artwork is shipped unframed with a passe-partout – including a certificate of authenticity and the artist’s signature on the reverse.

– Shapes – Lines: For me, painting and drawing are an important and fulfilling means of expression. I find it a wonderful experience to bring pure pigments, combined with various binders, to life as a composition on canvas. My experience in drawing from my background in landscape architecture often finds its way into my work as graphic elements.
