Material:
Acrylic paints on canvas
Technique:
Patches of colour applied with dynamic brushstrokes create a sense of depth that draws the viewer into a vast landscape.
Soft, glazed transitions convey a sense of calm, whilst distinct colour boundaries create clarity and freshness. These are contrasted by seemingly uncontrolled colour gradients, which, through their overall harmony, infuse the painting with great vitality. These effects are enhanced by a deliberately limited colour palette
Shipping:
The work is shipped stretched on a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity and a signature on the reverse.

– Shapes – Lines: For me, painting and drawing are an important and fulfilling means of expression. I find it a wonderful experience to bring pure pigments, combined with various binders, to life as a composition on canvas. My experience in drawing from my background in landscape architecture often finds its way into my work as graphic elements.
From 2004 onwards, further training in painting with, amongst others, Alex Bär, Marika Wille-Jais, Sylvia Roubaud and Gerhard Marquard; life drawing with Ruth Effer
