Art Student of the Month
The Art Student of the Month is selected based on various factors. This feature recognizes the artist who generated the most sales during the respective month. We also take factors such as reliability, professionalism, and communication into account during the selection process. Our goal is to specifically honor outstanding collaboration. Since this award is given only once, it does not imply that the artist was any less impressive in other months.
What is ‘Artist of the Month’?
‘Artist of the Month’ is an award for outstanding achievements within the SKM community. It is awarded monthly to artists who not only achieve the highest sales figures but also impress with their professionalism and reliability. This makes it particularly worthwhile to invest in art here. The award can be received once and recognises special moments of success in an artist’s career.

Judit Flamich was born in Hungary in 1999. She currently lives in Vienna and is studying for an MA in Art History at the University of Vienna, as well as Conservation and Restoration at the University of Applied Arts under Prof. Gabriela Krist. She exhibits regularly internationally. As an ever-evolving experimental artist, her style plays with a blend of several artistic movements. Plein air, as well as traces of Symbolism, Impressionism, and hints of Surrealism or Expressionism, are recurring fragments of the dream world she creates on canvas.

Adrian Ferdinand’s photographic work is characterised by a precise observation of the everyday and the incidental. His subjects are drawn from the urban environment, social life, subculture and fashion – always with a profound interest in values and questions of identity. With a keen eye for chance arrangements and fleeting moments, he captures situations that are often overlooked, yet reveal a particular aesthetic or abstraction.

Like so many others, I’ve always dreamt of becoming an artist. To make a living from my own creative work and, in doing so, make the world a little more colourful and beautiful in my own way . It took several years, with all their trials and tribulations, before the time came and I could finally pursue my childhood dream.

Specialism: Abstract Painting with Dominik Halmer
I have been working intensively on canvas for four years and am dedicated to my own individual artistic development. I focus intensively on abstraction and the alienation of figurative elements in my works. I often work without a pre-determined composition, allowing the work to emerge with every subsequent stroke. Experimentation is an essential part of my working method. With me, there is always something new to discover.

Information about the works: My motifs usually emerge at university during a lecture. It is important to me not to develop motifs from an artistic context, but rather to view them within another academic discipline and then consider how I can visualise or embody them. As soon as I have a rough idea, I start painting. The results are therefore usually based on themes from cultural studies or English linguistics.

Nele Dorn is a student at the Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences in Bonn.
In my artistic work, I explore my fascination with the human body and how we relate to it.
I am particularly interested in the relationship we have with our bodies and how this relationship is shaped by external influences.
